On the eve of Monday's Annual Shareholder's Meeting, BlackBerry-maker Research In Motion's stock price was down slightly in U.S. trading, but trended a bit upward in Canadian swapping.Although this inconclusiveness does not happen all that often it was not surprising. Especially, considering that investors are probably waiting for some big annoucements or other transforming news to come out of the meeting. The confab starts at 6:30 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time, and will be webcast live.
Until then, and in light of a slow summer Friday, here's how things went:
Nasdaq (RIMM)- $72.27 a share, down 43 cents (-0.59%) from Thursday's $72.70 a share closing price.
Toronto Stock Exchange (RIM)- $88.48 (CDN) a share, up 64 cents from Thursday's $87.84 (CDN) a share final result.
